I AM NOT A RASCAL

I'm not a rascal; I'm strong-headed. There's a distinct difference between being a rascal and having a strong will and mind. I'm disciplined—not rigid, but unyielding and impossible to easily twist. Some people mess things up and claim that just because I don't change my stance or agree with them, it makes me a rascal. They mistake my firm voice and unwavering will for something negative. But I know what a real rascal is: someone with no good intentions, someone who breaks the law, violates rights, defiles people, robs, acts like a thug, and disrespects others' cultures.  Here's the truth: I’ve shown time and again that you cannot silence my voice—it’s strong and clear, reaching far and wide. Just because I’m strong-headed doesn’t mean I’m a rascal. And if I appear simple at times, don’t be fooled—simplicity is not the core of who I am. Remember this.

THE TWO SIDES OF THE COIN

'The Tale of a Very Good Bad Girl'  This girl is kind but with a twist of madness, an unpredictable force of nature. In her calm voice, she asserts, "If I can spend all my energy saving a soul, I can also invest the same energy in taking a soul." She embodies the sides of a coin with a magnetic effect, attracting energy at different frequencies, and wielding both light and darkness. Celebrating a decade of being a "very good bad girl" reflects a journey of resilience and adaptability. Life has served her portions of poison without pause, making the choice between the sides of the coin consequential. Maintaining the facade of a purely good girl is too costly, while the bad girl persona adds an enticing edge.  In a world where "bad girls" often seize better opportunities, the "good girls" frequently end up with the leftovers. This isn't mere sarcasm; it's a hard truth. Being too good often leads to having one's rights trampled u...

Not all good plans are beneficial

"Not all seemingly good plans are necessarily beneficial for you. There exist numerous misconceptions about planning. As the saying goes, 'Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.' However, it's important to remember that a plan alone is not sufficient; it's a workable plan that holds the greatest value. Sometimes, plans may appear enticing on the surface, but upon implementation, they can lead to regret. The effectiveness of a plan hinges significantly on the judicious allocation of time and resources. Interestingly, most well-conceived plans may falter precisely because of their pursuit of perfection – perfect plans are not immune to errors. Taking a positive step at an inopportune moment can turn that step into a misstep. Regardless of how impeccable a plan may seem, if it is not executed at the right time, it can be worse than having no plan at all. Consider the idea of starting a personal business. While the intention is commendable, venturing into such a busine...

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

This year's Independence appears different abi na my eyes ni 👀. Something is now telling me pe tabi 🧏 'Ara n kan Gaza' ni...  The independence now look 👁️like dependence.  No matter how it looks, na still Naija for life.  We found ourselves in a lot of mess yet our success is evident. We fight for common goals in different languages. We thrive in our diversity. Our team spirit is envied by many. We are blessed with both human and natural resources. 'Our land is Green' When they ask; where are you from? And you say 'Am a Nigerian' there's always change of impressions about your nationality and personality. It's so pathetic when people use the attributes of the few bad eggs to evaluate our overall performance. But we are good people. Why does it seems like we intimidates others. Being a Nigerian implies you can survive any trial. We are survivals. Our spirits are so strong. As the real "Giant of Africa" we can never settle for less. Abou...

Education and Literacy

Education Education serves as the conduit for the transmission of knowledge, skills, and character traits. It encompasses not only the teaching and acquisition of specific skills but also something more intangible yet profound. One of its fundamental aspects involves passing down culture from one generation to the next. Education, etymologically derived from "to draw out," facilitates the realization of an individual's latent potential and talents. It engenders a natural and enduring transformation in an individual's thinking and capacity to pursue their objectives. Education extends beyond the confines of the classroom, as it is a product of both a child's experiences outside of school and their experiences within it. Three primary forms of education exist: Formal, Informal, and Non-formal. Formal Education Formal Education occurs within the structured environments of schools, colleges, and universities. Here, students acquire both theoretical and practical kno...

BLESSING IN DISGUISE

Placing all our trust in humans instead of in God often leads to significant disappointment, as aptly expressed by Kuforiji Afolasade: "The height of your trust determines the depth of your disappointment." There are moments when we reach out to others for help, but they may not respond. In such situations, it's possible that God is using their absence to teach us valuable lessons that their presence couldn't impart. We may be disheartened and disapproved by those we trusted the most, but it's essential to realize that their presence might have complicated matters and prevented the right people from coming into our lives to offer genuine help. Perhaps, where we stand today, we have experienced rejection and disarray due to the absence of support from our parents, friends, or spouse when we needed them the most. This could have resulted in various setbacks, financial crises, serious health issues, broken relationships, spiritual attacks, business failures, unemplo...
